These are ideas that are fun to create. Some of them are kept awhile, some sold, others painted over! For me, it’s the creation that counts.
Avoid hanging art in direct or reflected sunlight or under fluorescent lighting. Heat and light accelerate discoloration.
Dust oil paintings with a very soft art brush. Using a cloth could chip the paint.
50% humidity and 70 degrees provide ideal conditions for displaying art.
Bathrooms and kitchens are an unhealthy environment for art work. Try to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity.
